FORD RESET UNIT TYPE UL13 The Joule UL13 Ford Reset Unit is designed to unlock a Ford 5000, 6000 or 7000 radio even if all attempts have been used up i.e. the radio is displaying ‘lock 13’. After unlocking a radio, a further 13 attempts at code entry will be available and all that is then required is to enter the correct code.
PLEASE NOTE : This unit will NOT read the security code of the radio. However, the codes can be obtained from the Enigma or from ourselves. There are only three connections to make in all:- One from the Reset Unit to the radio and two to a suitable 12 volt power source. After powering up, the radio will be reset in a matter of seconds. The device is completely self contained – no computer is necessary and absolutely no technical knowledge is required. The software required to control the unit is contained within an internal microprocessor and is fully automatic in operation. The device will unlock a 5000, 6000 or 7000 series radio regardless of the processors program mask number.
